Certification

Our products are designed in strict accordance with the various procedures laid down by international quality institutes including Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC). Our panels were tested for short circuit withstanding capacity of busbar at CPRI, Bhopal for 25 KA RMS in 1988; again they were tested at CPRI, Bangalore in 1993. Later in 2004, our panels and bus ducts were tested at CPRI, Bangalore for 50 KA rms for 1 sec., temp. rise test and IP 55.

Testing

Committed towards total client satisfaction, we dispatch our products after conducting thorough testing procedures. All the panels are offered for testing and inspection after the completion of assembling, busbar interconnections and wiring. We possess the following equipments to conduct various tests on our products:

• High voltage test equipment: To test high voltage withstand capacity of the current carrying parts
• Megger test equipment: To check the insulation resistance
• Phase Sequence Meter: To check the phases configurations
• Coat Meter: To check the painting thickness of the steel fabrication
• Gauge Meter: To check the gauge of the fabrication steel
• Heat Run Test Kit: To check the adequacy of size of current carrying products
• Secondary Injection Test Set: To check the protection relay and meters for their correctness

• Short Circuit Withstanding Capacity: CPRI, Bangalore
• Dust, Vermin & Weather Proof Test IP-54/55, IS 2147, etc.: CPRI, Bangalore.

Standards

We follow various standards issued by different quality institutes at every level of our operations. Following is a brief description of various standards which are followed by us:

• IS:8623 - In designing factory built assemblies of switchgear and control gear
• IS:5578/11353 - In marking and arrangement for switchgear busbar, etc.
• IS: 2147 - Degree of protection provided by enclosure for low voltage switchgear and control gear
• IS:13947 - General requirements for switchgear and control gear
• IS:13118/13947 - For developing air circuit breakers of voltages not exceeding 1000 V AC
